Electrical Supervisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electrical Supervisor with supervisory role experience to join a well-established construction firm. This role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £50,000 - £55,000.

As a Senior Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of smaller electrical projects, manage a team of electricians, and ensure the timely completion of works according to specifications and regulations. The roles involve social housing projects, including refurbishments, adaptations, EICRs, and electrical upgrades.

You will be responsible for:

1. Leading small projects and supervising a team of electricians.
2. Managing project documentation and reporting progress to management.
3. Monitoring works for any delays or variations and communicating these with clients.
4. Coordinating with other management team members to ensure sufficient resources.
5. Overseeing materials and deliveries in line with project specifications.
6. Motivating and managing site staff, including supervisors and subcontractors.
7. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, building standards, and company policies.
8. Verifying inspection and testing results to ensure accuracy and prevent delays.

What we are looking for:

1. Previously worked as an Electrical Supervisor, Electrical Manager, Qualifying Supervisor or in a similar role.
2. Experience in a supervisory role.
3. Background in fault finding, testing, and inspecting electrical work.
4. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent).
5. 18th Edition City & Guilds and QS certification.
6. Skilled in Microsoft software and other relevant technologies.
7. Full, clean driving licence.
8. Willingness to attend annual audits as part of the NICEIC enrolment.
