Electrical Supervisor
Working for an award-winning contractor with over 24 years in the construction and renewable energy sectors, known for delivering innovative, high-quality engineering solutions, they have built a strong industry reputation, with most of their projects coming from repeat clients and referrals.
Working on a project with a value of £3 million, the Electrical Supervisor will oversee daily site operations, manage safety and quality control, and drive efficient workflows on this exciting electrical project in Tooting.
Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
- Site Diary: Maintain daily records of site attendance, deliveries, and activity updates to support detailed project reporting.
- Permit Management: Ensure permits are issued for high-risk areas, with reports completed through Safety Culture.
- Electrical Testing Documentation: Record and upload test sheets for electronic compilation.
- Weekly Inspections: Conduct and report weekly inspections of scaffolding, tools, and access equipment through Field View.
- Nialli Meetings: Attend daily progress meetings and update on-site progress to WDC. Training in Nialli implications will be provided.
- Material Requisitions: Prepare and communicate detailed material requisitions in advance of the Site Liaison's weekly visit, aiding off-site manufacturing preparations.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure installations meet QD specifications and monitor adherence to RAMS and PPE standards.
- Apprentice Mentorship: Support and guide apprentices, providing feedback to the Project Manager on their progress.
- Work Distribution & Efficiency: Oversee work areas and materials, set daily targets, and ensure work follows the plan efficiently.
- Site Procurement & Stock Management: Schedule and manage site deliveries, organize stock levels, and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Production Targets: Regularly monitor and adjust targets to maintain high standards of productivity.
Electrical Supervisor Skills/Accreditations Required:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory role in electrical projects.
- Relevant qualifications, including SMSTS, SSSTS, or CCSM.
- Strong health and safety commitment, with flexibility for part-time or ad hoc work as needed.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Electrical Supervisor Remuneration:
This is a fixed-term contract for 8 months with strong potential to extend and work on other London-based projects. You will be paid through CIS at the rate of Circa £275 per day (NEG) with the opportunity to do overtime.
