Job Title: Electrical Qualifying Supervisor

Location: West Sussex

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (Basic Salary)

Overview

Are you an experienced electrician ready to step into a leadership role? Or perhaps you're already a supervisor seeking a new opportunity? We're looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join our Social Housing Maintenance team. In this role, you'll oversee a team of electricians, ensuring that all planned, responsive, and void electrical work is carried out to a high standard while meeting compliance requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Overseeing work scheduling to ensure a smooth and efficient service that meets company standards and contractual agreements.
2. Acting as a key point of contact in client and resident performance meetings.
3. Managing the delivery of responsive repairs, ensuring targets are consistently achieved.
4. Controlling material costs efficiently while making sure proper processes are followed.
5. Conducting quality checks through inspections, performance analysis, and customer feedback reviews.
6. Leading, mentoring, and developing your team to ensure optimal performance and service delivery.

What We're Looking For

We need a motivated and qualified professional who can confidently step into this role. You could be:

1. A certified electrician within the social housing maintenance ready to progress into supervision.
2. A current supervisor with experience in social housing maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

1. NVQ Level 3
2. AM2
3. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
4. 2391 (Inspection & Testing)

Experience Required:

1. Background in responsive maintenance, planned works, or void maintenance within social housing.
2. Strong ability to solve problems, multitask, and work effectively under pressure.
3. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
