Job description

We're looking for an Electrical Supervisor to oversee the renewables team and electrical subcontractors on key projects. You'll take ownership of planning, logistics, and delivery, making sure everything runs safely, smoothly, and on schedule — all while keeping projects within budget and up to spec.


Supervising workers, equipment, and materials, and ensuring the site meets the highest standards through regular safety checks.


Daily Responsibilities:
  1. Manage on-site operations, ensuring safety, quality workmanship, and compliance with regulations.
  2. Foster a strong health and safety culture through risk assessments.
  3. Maintain effective communication and relationships, lead and support staff, deliver excellent customer service, conduct inspections and surveys, and coordinate weekly material logistics.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  1. Qualified to BS#removed#th Edition (Amendment 2) and City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.
  2. Solar PV certification is desirable but not essential.
  3. ECS Gold Card holder.
  4. Previous experience in social housing is preferred, though not mandatory.
  5. Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  7. Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
  8. Strong time management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.
  9. Analytical thinker and proactive problem solver, with a passion for improving and optimising processes.
  10. Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable, with a client-focused approach.
  11. High attention to detail and strong record-keeping abilities.
  12. Proven ability to foster positive working relationships, mentor colleagues, and contribute to a motivated team environment.
  13. Strong communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
  14. Full UK Driving Licence required.
  15. Salary flexible, depending on experience.
