Position: Electrical Supervisor

Location: Central Newcastle

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £40,000 increasing to £44,000 after probation period

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Building Services Engineer for a Senior Position on a Static Site in the centre of Newcastle. This person needs to be technical within building services maintenance and holding at least a level 2 mechanical or electrical building services qualification.

This position will be working within a team of 9 building services engineers including another supervisor. They will be dealing with daily maintenance and on-site compliance, as well as managing staff rotas, on-site health and safety, and being the go-to person for management.

The right person for this role will have either worked as a Supervisor/ Lead Engineer or have the experience of supporting a team and looking for their next step in their career. They do need to come from a strong building services commercial background.

Requirements

• Strong working background in commercial building services maintenance
• Experience as a Lead or Supervising Engineer
• Happy to work on a static site
• Good health and safety knowledge
• Able to complete risk assessments and small quotations
• Must be able to support the on-call rota
