An established industry player is seeking an Electrical Supervisor for an exciting 18-month contract at a new power plant. Job description

Electrical Supervisor - (Outside IR35)

18-month contract, to work on power plant, on site driving the design quality through the installation phase.

Location: Thurrock, Essex

Salary: £360 - £380 per day

Role Description

The Resolute Group are supporting an M&E contractor with the ECIA installation package as part of an installation of a new power plant. With the programme entering the M&E fit-out stage, the programme is moving to an Electrical and Mechanical skill set.

One key position we are looking for is an Electrical Supervisor, someone to be the interface between the design and delivery teams. Supporting the design consultancies with modifications, then ensuring all the designs are recorded correctly on the document management system.

Pulling together the key stakeholders when it comes to the technical delivery of the project, with day-to-day duties including:

  1. Assist Construction Manager to execute and monitor all E&I works
  2. Ensure all aspects of the works are carried out in the safest manner at all times
  3. Managing the installation and testing of Electrical, Instrumentation, Communications and Telecoms
  4. Supervise the Electrical (HT/LT/MV/LV) installation and testing works
  5. Supervise the Instrumentation certification and installation works
  6. Experience in trouble shooting of E&I system/program
  7. Ensure ITP Compliant and document compilation
  8. Experience in managing and coordinating with other Building Services
  9. Ensure the full compliance of Safety and Schedule requirement

This is predominantly a site-based role but there will be opportunities to work from home as the programme allows.

Required Experience
  1. HNC / HND or Degree - Electrical Engineering
  2. E&I Trade background
  3. Minimum 5-10 years' experience post qualification
  4. Min 5 years' experience in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or Pharmaceutical Industries
