Job Description: Electrical Supervisor (Wirral)

Company Overview: We are a recruitment agency working on behalf of a well-established electrical contractor based in the Wirral. Our client is a leading provider of electrical services, delivering high-quality installations, maintenance, and repairs to a diverse range of sectors, including schools, hospitals, universities, and commercial buildings. They are now looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and lead their electrical teams on a variety of projects.

Position: Electrical Supervisor
Location: Wirral
Salary: £44,000 per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week
Van: Company van included

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and lead a team of electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across various sites, including schools, hospitals, universities, and commercial buildings.
2. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, wiring standards (18th Edition), and industry best practices.
3. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of electrical projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality workmanship.
4. Provide guidance and technical support to electricians on-site, ensuring all work meets the required standards and specifications.
5. Carry out inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and client requirements.
6. Maintain accurate project documentation, including job sheets, inspection reports, risk assessments, and certification.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during installations, ensuring minimal disruption to clients, particularly in sensitive environments such as hospitals and schools.
8. Liaise with clients and contractors, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues as they arise.
9. Foster a positive and productive team environment, ensuring that electricians adhere to project schedules and safety protocols.
10. Ensure the effective use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials on-site, and report any issues with resources to management.
11. Stay up to date with industry changes, new technologies, and emerging trends in electrical work.

Requirements:

1. ECS Gold Card required (Electrical Supervisor or Electrician Certification Scheme).
2. Proven experience as an Electrician with at least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, ideally in schools, hospitals, universities, and commercial buildings.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring regulations (18th Edition), and health and safety standards.
4. Excellent supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of electricians.
5. Solid problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
6. Exceptional communication and organizational skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
7. Ability to work independently and under pressure while ensuring high-quality work and safety standards are maintained.
8. Full UK driving license, as the role involves driving the company van to various sites across Wirral and surrounding areas.

Salary and Benefits:
