The role of Electrical Site Supervisor will involve nationwide travel; therefore, the successful candidate must be happy working away from home each week. A UK driving license is required.
Our client is seeking a time-served electrically biased Electrical Site Supervisor to join their projects team.
Electrical Site Supervisor SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Must be electrically qualified to 17th or 18th Edition – hands-on duties.
- Previous experience working as an Electrical Site Supervisor / Senior Electrician / Manager is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate with subcontractors, clients, and other team members.
- First Aid/H&S qualification is an advantage; training provided.
- Time-served electrician.
The company works within the healthcare construction industry – hospitals all over the UK, which will involve working away from home. Working on projects between £50,000 to £100,000.
Electrical Site Supervisor DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the coordination and control of the project from initial start through to completion within a detailed programme.
- Co-ordinate closely with subcontractors under their control and facilitate the safe progress of works.
- Day-to-day management of subcontractors and operations on site, ensuring that the project is brought to a successful completion and meets the required time and quality constraints.
- Regular monitoring and liaison with the Contracts Manager on the Master Programme and development of stage/section programme as required.
- Liaise with the Contract Manager to ensure adequate labour and sub-contract resource is available on site utilizing the agreed company sub-contractors.
- Carry out toolbox briefings to the site teams and sub-contractors.
- Plan and efficiently organise the site facilities and logistics, ensuring all equipment on site is fit for purpose and only operated by appropriately trained staff.
- Oversee the deliveries and ensure they are done so in adequate time in line with the construction programme and procurement schedule.
- Co-ordinate closely with clients on site.
- Ensure all site documentation and health and safety documentation is in order.
