Job description

The Electrical Site Manager will be responsible for the successful on-site delivery of all electrical aspects of the residential project. This role requires leadership, coordination, and a strong understanding of electrical systems, residential building practices, and safety standards. You'll oversee daily site operations, manage electricians and subcontractors, and ensure timelines and quality benchmarks are met.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage the on-site electrical team (in-house and subcontractors)
  2. Coordinate daily activities to ensure efficient workflow and task completion
  3. Ensure all installations comply with the NEC and local building codes
  4. Work closely with project managers, builders, and other site supervisors
  5. Monitor material use, deliveries, and equipment on-site
  6. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and progress
  7. Report daily progress and site updates to the project management team
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve technical or scheduling issues promptly
Requirements:
  1. Gold ECS card
  2. SMSTS
  3. 5+ years of experience in residential electrical installation and supervision
  4. Previous experience managing on-site crews in residential construction
  5. Strong leadership and communication skills
  6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans
  7. Detail-oriented, organized, and solutions-focused mindset
