Electrical Shift Engineer - Canary Wharf - £54,258 + Shift Allowance, Bonus, and Benefits

Company Overview:
A leading facilities management provider is seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join their prestigious client site in Canary Wharf. The role focuses on maintaining critical outdoor infrastructure in a high-profile commercial estate.

Role Overview:
You'll be responsible for maintaining external electrical systems across the estate, working on a continental shift pattern covering both days and nights. The role requires strong electrical fault-finding skills, a good understanding of outdoor systems, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Continental shift pattern - covering days and nights (7am-7pm)
2. Maintenance of external power systems, street lighting, and ventilation
3. Fault finding and repair on drainage pumps and outdoor services
4. Reactive and planned electrical maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems
5. Maintaining UPS, generators, cooling towers/systems, chillers when required
6. Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
7. Accurate record-keeping and use of permit-to-work systems
8. Liaising with third-party contractors and internal stakeholders

Qualifications:

1. City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
2. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
3. Previous experience in commercial or critical environments
4. HV Authorised Person status is advantageous
5. Strong background in outdoor electrical infrastructure is desirable

On Offer:

1. £54,258 per annum + 3% shift allowance = £55,885.74
2. Continental shift pattern (days and nights)
3. Bonus every December
