Job description

Electrical - Multi skilled shift engineer

I'm helping a major FM service provider find a shift engineer on a large contract in central London.

Salary: £47,000 - £50,000 + overtime

Schedule: 4 on 4 off days and nights

Location: Large, static site

Further training and progression available.

Tasks:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and HVAC equipment.
  • Ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed to high standards and in compliance with regulations.
  • Fault Diagnosis and Repair
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical faults on a variety of systems, including control panels, motors, pumps, and BMS.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies, minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment is back in service as quickly as possible.
  • Electrical Installations and Upgrades
  • Carry out electrical installations, modifications, and upgrades as required, adhering to relevant regulations and standards (BS7671).

Qualifications:

  • NVQ or City and Guilds Level 3 electrical installations
  • 17th or 18th Edition

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
