Job description

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning, servicing, and support of BMS systems, with a strong focus on Schneider Electric systems (such as EcoStruxure, TAC Vista, or Continuum). You'll work closely with clients to deliver high-quality technical support, system diagnostics, and ensure optimal performance of installed systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault finding on BMS systems.
  2. Commission and configure Schneider-based BMS systems.
  3. Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients.
  4. Produce service reports, documentation, and system updates.
  5. Collaborate with project managers and other engineers on system upgrades and retrofits.
  6. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), particularly Schneider Electric platforms.
  2. Knowledge of HVAC controls and system integration.
  3. Strong fault-finding and analytical skills.
  4. Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  5. Full UK driving licence (or local equivalent).
  6. Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering, automation, or controls (HNC/HND or similar preferred).
