Electrical Project Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join a Tier 1 contractor on their upcoming work for AMP8!

This role is to start at the beginning of April for an on-going freelance contract paying outside IR35.

About the Role:

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and execution of electrical systems for water/ wastewater treatment plants and related infrastructure. You will work closely with project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review electrical designs, schematics, and specifications for water treatment systems, including power distribution, control systems, instrumentation, and automation.
• Lead and manage electrical aspects of water treatment projects, overseeing procurement and installation
• Possess strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment commonly used in the water treatment industry
• Ensure all electrical designs and installations adhere to relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and codes.
• Work effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring clear communication and collaboration

Requirements:

• An industry applicable Electrical ONC/HNC/B.Eng or NVQ Equivalent (Essential)
• Experience working with the Water Treatment Industry (Essential)
• Confidence with participating in regular electrical design reviews
