The role

As an Electrical Production Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be part of an experienced and growing team, delivering complex engineering support to our many projects.

Day-to-day, the Production Engineer work scope entails producing production planning, risk assessments, supervision of technicians and engineering support for assembly, wiring and test activities on a variety of electrical and electronic assemblies, including reactor in-core inspection and safety circuit equipment.

  • Oversee assembly and wiring of electronic modules, control panels, and cubicles, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Supervise PCB and cable assembly to IPC Standards, with training provided for successful candidates.
  • Review and verify test results for Analogue Circuit PCBs and electrical equipment per approved documentation.
  • Guide and oversee on-machine wiring of electrical/electronic devices, ensuring efficient cable management and termination.
  • Lead fault investigation and repair for analogue electronics equipment with linear power supplies, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety requirements.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based at our Whetstone manufacturing site in Blaby, Leicestershire.
