Job description

Due to the high security nature of the business, employees may require background checks and security clearance when visiting customer sites.

Electrical/Mechanical Engineer
Role and Responsibilities
  • Design electrical systems and produce wiring diagrams.
  • PLC programming - writing PLC software.
  • Design mechanical parts and produce drawings/models.
  • Fault finding and problem solving.
  • Installing and commissioning equipment at customer sites.
  • Providing customer training and support.
Skills and Experience
  • Electronics experience to be able to design electrical systems and produce wiring diagrams (3ph, single-phase, analogue and digital systems).
  • Ability to write PLC software (Siemens/Panasonic desirable).
  • CAD experience (Autocad or Solidworks preferable but not essential).
  • Fault finding and problem solving skills and experience.
  • Willingness to travel overseas as required (approx. 2-6 times per year/duration of 2-14 days per trip) for installations and fault finding at customer site.
  • Experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems desirable.
  • Experience using core Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
