Role Summary:

As our Electrical Technician, you'll be responsible for:

1. Developing and implementing proactive electrical maintenance plans to keep our machinery running smoothly and prevent costly breakdowns.
2. Troubleshooting electrical malfunctions and performing repairs to keep our equipment in top-notch condition.
3. Running diagnostic tests and using root cause analysis to eliminate faults.
4. Maintaining accurate service and repair records to ensure continuity.
5. Ensuring a tidy, safe work environment while complying with Health & Safety and Environmental regulations.
6. Installing new equipment and upgrading existing machinery to meet our production needs.
7. Training your fellow team members on best practices and safety when using electrical equipment.
8. Managing parts availability and ensuring supplies are always topped up.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

1. Minimum 2 years' experience as an Electrical Technician (preferably in a COMAH-related industry, ideally from a chemical manufacturing or food production company)
2. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
3. Comfortable working independently and liaising with all departments within the company
4. Professional demeanor with excellent communication and collaboration skills
5. Focused on continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on safety
6. Willingness to perform electrical maintenance and repairs outside of standard working hours
7. Experience working with various voltages (AC and DC)
8. Ability to read electrical diagrams and drawings
9. Full driving license

Where You'll Work:
This role will see you working between our sites, offering variety and the chance to work across different environments.
