Job description

Zenith People are working with our client who are recruiting for an Electrical Biased Maintenance Technician to join them on a permanent basis.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. To maintain plant and equipment, contribute to installation and commissioning of new and upgrade of existing equipment, develop through training and experience, and support development of other engineers.
  2. Support colleagues in ensuring improvements.
  3. Assist wherever and whenever possible in safety improvements.
  4. Maintain plant and equipment both reactively (e.g., breakdowns) and proactively (e.g., PPMs, spares build-up).
  5. Identify cause of failure in equipment.
  6. Identify root causes wherever possible and communicate with relevant personnel.
  7. Communicate all relevant and necessary information with lead technician, maintenance technician, colleagues, or others within the organisation.

Person Specification:

  1. Must be educated to a minimum standard of ONC/OND/HND/HNC/NVQIII or equivalent in Maintenance / Electrical engineering.
  2. Must have experience in:
    1. Electrical fault finding.
    2. Heavy engineering electrical maintenance or similar.
    3. Installation and fault-finding AC / DC motors.
    4. Single and three phase supplies.

Please note that the salary advertised includes shift allowance.
