Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We're looking for an additional Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a well-established specialist manufacturer in Burton. The role will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency and quality of a fleet of generators, off-site electrical systems, loadbanks, and similar electrical equipment.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Installation and commissioning of transformers, loadbanks and gen sets, including accessories at customer sites.
- Operating to site-specific safety standards.
- Carry out pre- and post-installation inspections to ensure equipment safety, reliability, integrity and quality.
- Perform routine service and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults and breakdowns.
- Adhere to safe working practices and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety equipment.
- Maintain accurate service records and technical documentation and logging any important information.
- Provide technical support and guidance to all stakeholders, including operators and client contacts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in electrical and mechanical systems, particularly in power energy including transformers and loadbanks, including problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, electrical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to electrical and mechanical operations.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel and work on customer sites as required.
