Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We're hiring an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company in Romsey!

You'll work in a well-established maintenance team, ensuring smooth plant operations while contributing to continuous improvements in Health & Safety, efficiency, and productivity.

This role would suit someone who is electrically bias, with an 18th Edition qualification and a background in production/ manufacturing or similar.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!

What you'll be doing:

1. Planned maintenance & reactive repairs on various production machinery
2. Diagnose & rectify electrical faults to minimise downtime
3. Conduct electrical installations, servicing, and repairs
4. Monitor & report equipment malfunctions
5. Log daily progress in the CMMS system
6. Work with 3-phase electrical equipment, motors & starters
7. Assist in new equipment installation & factory improvements
8. Provide electrical support for machine setups & changeovers
9. Maintain high compliance with Health & Safety standards

Hours:

Monday-Friday, rotating shifts; 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm

Pay:

£40,500 - £46,000 per annum (Depending on Experience) + Monthly Performance Bonuses
Overtime paid at time ½

Skills/Experience Required:

1. Electrical engineering qualifications (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds - 18th Edition, BTEC, or equivalent)
2. Strong fault-finding & problem-solving skills
3. Experience with PLC systems (Siemens)
4. Ability to read electrical schematics & technical drawings
5. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
6. Health & safety awareness
