Location: Wakefield

Salary: £48 - 51k DOE + plenty of overtime

Shifts: 2 days 2 nights 4 off plus flexi time

Holiday Entitlement: 21 Shifts

ATA Recruitment are working in partnership with a fantastic client in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. They are the fastest growing independent FMCG Manufacturer in Europe. My client is looking for a motivated Electrically qualified Maintenance Engineer to help support a busy factory and be involved with new factory machine installs and moves.

You will be joining a team of 12 highly skilled maintenance engineers to undertake planned preventative maintenance. You will be part of a team with a strong teamwork ethic and will have ongoing support from the maintenance engineers on shift as well as the engineering manager. Training and development are at the forefront of my client, and they have budgets in place to provide tailor-made training to suit you and the business needs.

The Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities as the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will include:

1. The planned and reactive maintenance and service of all the state-of-the-art kit on site.
2. Working as part of a large on-site maintenance engineering team of 12 engineers.
3. Mechanically replacing worn out parts on the conveyors including rollers, bearings, gearboxes, and pneumatics.
4. Electrical work including reading through electrical schematics, utilizing electrical test equipment such as multi-meters, and fault finding on panels.
5. Interpreting engineering drawings.

The Person

To be successful in your application for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will need:

1. An electrical NVQ Level 3 qualification, time served.
2. Maintenance experience in a high-speed production, manufacturing, FMCG environment is highly desirable but not essential.
