Electrical Maintenance Engineer - West End, Central London - Up to £45,000 - Shift
Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in the West End. My client is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a large retail site in the West End. The successful candidates will be Electrically biased (C&G) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, ideally within a critical site. Working within a team of engineers on site, he or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance to the following.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000 + overtime, further training, and career progression.

Hours of work

  • Week 1 - Tuesday 07:00 - 16:00 / Wednesday 07:00 - 16:00 / Thursday 07:00 - 16:00 / Friday 07:00 - 16:00 / Saturday 07:30 - 19:15 / Sunday 10:00 - 18:15
  • Week 2 - Wednesday 07:00 - 16:00 / Thursday 07:00 - 16:00 / Friday 07:00 - 16:00
  • Week 3 - Monday - Friday 09:30 - 20:00
  • Week 4 - Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 16:00

Key Duties

  • Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballasts, Control panel, Power distribution)
  • Emergency lighting
  • Hydraulics and Pneumatics
  • Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
  • Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
  • Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
  • BMS Systems
  • UPS Systems

Requirements

  • City & Guilds - Level 2 & 3 Electrical or Mechanical
  • City & Guilds - 17th or 18th Edition
  • You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent customer skills
