Job description

Catch 22 are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer who has previously worked in a maintenance environment. You will be working with one of the North West's leading Conference and Entertainment venues.

This is an excellent static site position with the chance to work on a state-of-the-art venue. They will require the planning and provision of temporary electrical services for large scale events and conferences. The ultimate objective is to ensure that the customer experience is delivered to the highest possible standard.

Your duties as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer will include:

  1. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
  2. Carry out reactive & emergency breakdown tasks
  3. Assisting team members when required
  4. Reducing the site's energy consumption
  5. Overseeing visiting subcontractors
  6. Carry out work in a safe & diligent manner

The Successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have:
  1. Relevant electrical qualifications such as 18th edition (Essential) and City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 (Preferred)
  2. Experience of working in a maintenance role
  3. Recognised Safety qualification such as CITB/NEBOSH/IOSH (Preferred)
  4. Knowledge of electrical systems and plant rooms on a commercial building
  5. Proactive approach to work life
  6. Able to anticipate and/or diagnose and repair faults
  7. Highly organised and self-motivated

Uniform and Tools provided

The role is 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 and offering a salary of £36,000.
