Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Maintenance Engineers (x2) - Electrical

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering? Are you looking to develop within a rapidly growing global organization and work on exciting products/equipment? If so, we are seeking Maintenance Engineers (x2) on a permanent basis for a company that supplies globally, specializing in the design and manufacture of bespoke mechanical equipment.

Shift Pattern: Double Days

* Monday to Thursday: 6-2pm / 2pm-10pm.

We are urgently seeking x2 Maintenance Engineers for a large site. Both positions offer excellent growth opportunities and a chance to work within a supportive and experienced team.

Key Benefits:

1. Salary: £37,000 + Shift Pay + Overtime + Call-Out Allowance (Typically over £50,000 with Overtime)
2. Overtime available:
1. 1.5x Pay (Monday to Saturday)
2. 2x Pay (Sunday)
3. £250 Monthly Call-Out Allowance
4. Significant earning potential (Over £50,000 including overtime)
5. Immediate interviews and feedback within a week

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

1. Time-served apprenticeship with qualifications in mechanical engineering
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
3. Strong skills in pipefitting, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, steam, water fitting, and checks (including Legionella)
4. Experience with plant fitting, working with lathes and millers
5. Welding experience (preferred but not essential)
6. A solid background in engineering and maintenance on large sites

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

1. Time-served apprenticeship in electrical maintenance or installation
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance or installation role
3. 17th Edition certification, City & Guilds, or BTEC equivalents
4. Experience with control circuits, motors, steam presses, ovens, extruders, and general facilities equipment
5. Open to candidates with installation experience and those with a maintenance background

Responsibilities:

1. Reactive maintenance (70%)
2. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) (30%)
3. Working on a large site with a wide range of plant and machinery
4. Supporting external contractors for larger jobs
5. Potential participation in a call-out rota after an initial training period
