Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to carry out mobile maintenance works in London and surrounding areas.

Their client base includes, but is not limited to, commercial office blocks & industrial units, retail & student accommodation.

We are looking for a candidate who has knowledge of electrical systems and over 5 years’ experience in a similar Electrical / HVAC / Maintenance Engineer type role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine and reactive maintenance on electrical and HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, chillers, boilers, and pumps.
• Diagnose faults, repair, replace, and upgrade lighting, wiring, and electrical components, ensuring compliance with BS 7671.
• Conduct electrical testing, rewires, and emergency lighting maintenance.
• Handle mechanical and plumbing tasks, including pump repairs, pipework, and water heating systems.
• Maintain fire alarms, security systems, and automated controls.
• Ensure all work meets health and safety standards, keeping accurate maintenance records.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Approved Electrical Apprenticeship – Minimum requirement.
• F-Gas & ODS Regulations (C&G 2079-11) – Advantageous.
