Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Dayshift
Location: Goole, Doncaster area easy M62 access and A1 proximity
NO NIGHTS - do you want to come off shifts and workdays patterns? Monday to Friday 8 hours rotating?
Pay Range: £48K plus overtime, OTE £50K+
Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities - Electrical Maintenance Engineer
- Providing effective and efficient planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance to minimise losses to production.
- Ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment.
- Planned and reactive maintenance to keep downtime to a minimum.
- Work with conveyor systems, PLC systems, motors, and controls.
- Leading electrical and instrumentation repair, and working with CMMS.
- Diagnosis, resolution, and elimination of root causes.
- Implementation of minor equipment modifications in support of increased performance.
- Completion of all scheduled, planned corrective, reactive, and improvement maintenance as allocated.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of allocated annual equipment overhauls.
Qualifications & Requirements - Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Dayshift
- Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 in an electrical engineering discipline in maintenance engineering.
- Manufacturing Industry experience, heavy, medium, or FMCG environments considered.
- Routine Preventative Maintenance understanding of a PPM schedule.
- Finding and fixing faults quickly and effectively.
- Basic welding and fabrication skills advantageous.
- Fitting, Fabricating, and Welding experience preferred.
- A proactive approach to fault finding, a commitment to continuous improvement and personal development.
