Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: South Cambridge

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (40 hours per week)

Package: 45,000 basic salary + Training

About my client: A European Estates & Facilities company who operate across the UK, specialising in the maintenance of M&E systems. With a strong commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, they deliver planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance solutions to a diverse range of clients.

Role Description: Invictus are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team on a particular contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive maintenance support to electrical systems, including three-phase systems. Additionally, you will assist with mechanical and plumbing systems as required, demonstrating versatility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
  • Responding promptly to reactive maintenance requests, diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions.
  • Conducting inspections and tests on electrical systems to identify potential issues and hazards.
  • Assisting with the maintenance of mechanical and plumbing systems when necessary, contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to facility management.
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and adherence to service level agreements.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including three-phase systems.
  • Relevant qualifications equivalent or higher than NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • Full UK licence (preferably clean)
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
