Job description

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Field Service Engineer working Nationwide for our client based in Burton Upon Trent.

40 hours per week | door to door pay | overtime availability

Salary: £35-40,000 per annum

About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Field Service Engineer to join our client's team, working nationwide across the UK. The role involves installing energy saving devices in walk-in Fridge / Freezers and cellar areas at various customer sites, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out installation, maintenance and repairs on refrigeration and/or electrical systems.
  2. Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently.
  3. Work independently as part of a wider team to complete jobs on time.
  4. Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients.
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and health regulations.
  6. Complete all necessary documentation and reports accurately.
  7. Visiting base once a week to stock van.

About you:
  1. Experience in refrigeration and/or full electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, or equivalent).
  2. NIC registered (advantageous but not essential).
  3. Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills.
  4. Full UK driving license (no more than 6 points).
  5. Willingness to travel and stay overnight when necessary.
  6. Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  7. Good communication and customer service skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience in refrigeration systems and/or electrical installations. NIC registration is advantageous but not essential.
