Electrical Estimator

THE COMPANY

My client is a highly respected M&E Design & Build Company based in Dartford, operating for over 40 years and employing around 40 staff directly.

They handle everything from design and installation to commissioning and maintenance for a vast portfolio of clients, including Police Stations, Courts, Office Fit Outs, Factories, and more.

Due to growth, they are seeking an Electrical Estimator to join the team.

THE POSITION - ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR

Monday - Friday
8am - 5pm

You will be office-based in Dartford, working alongside 1 other Mechanical Estimator and 2 Electrical Estimators.

M&E Project Values vary between £10,000 - £5,000,000 and encompass a mix of Commercial Projects including Police Stations, Courts, Office Fit Outs, Factories, and more.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, this role comprises but is not limited to:

1. Tender document review and analysis, including raising RFI's with the client
2. Supply chain correspondence and enquiries
3. Take-off as required conforming to standard estimating conventions
4. Vetting incoming tenders/offers from our supply chain and ensuring that the most viable offer is included within our submission
5. Preparing tenders for internal adjudications
6. Attendance of tender adjudication meetings to present costing approach, project duration, and risks to the business
7. Timely submission of tenders
8. Attendance in handover of projects to the operations team
