Job description

Electrical Engineer - Wastewater

* Leading contractor working on long-term Thames Water projects

SSA are currently recruiting for a leading Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor who are looking to add an Electrical Engineer to their successful MEICA team, working on various Anaerobic Digester upgrade projects as part of their ongoing AMP7 & AMP8 frameworks across the London region.

The role will involve:

  1. Coordination of design, procurement, overseeing works on site, DfMA/OSB, commissioning & handover processes;
  2. Preparation and application of Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Permits and other Health and Safety Documentation;
  3. Developing Electrical Design Deliverables - Single Line Diagrams, Cable Schedules, Motor & Instrumentation Schedules, P&ID's etc.;
  4. Ensuring high-level HSEQ standards (with adherence to DSEAR);
  5. Co-ordinate work within multi-disciplinary teams (e.g., process, civil, mechanical).

Essential:

  1. Degree / HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering or 18th Edition/CompEx with suitable experience;
  2. Clean/Wastewater experience (beneficial);
  3. A background in Anaerobic Digestion, Power, Renewables, Water, or Recycling (beneficial).
