Overview

Parkhill is excited to announce an opportunity for an Electrical Engineering EIT to join our team. In this role, you will support and enhance a wide range of Electrical Engineering projects associated with commercial building design. This is a full-time, exempt position paid on a salary basis.

Responsibilities

• Supports electrical building design including, but not limited to, lighting, power distribution, communication systems, and fire alarm systems.
• Assist on construction phase services as directed by project engineer.
• Assist checking engineering calculations and collecting field data.
• Perform routine filing and delivery of documents.
• Support in the preparation of plans, specifications, and other related bid/construction documents.
• Use computerized design software and other relevant tools to prepare design assignments.
• Develop and prepare non-standard and complex design details.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• EIT obtained (or within 6 months of hire).
• Proficient in computerized design software including, but not limited to, Revit, AutoCAD, Visual Lighting, and SKM is preferred.
• An effective communicator with all levels of employees.
• Possess strategic and effective delegation skills.
