Job description

STEM recruitment solutions have a great opportunity for an Electrically Biased Engineer to work for their highly acclaimed client in the West Lothian area.

You will be supporting the busy manufacturing environment to run as smoothly and efficiently as possible covering Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6am to 6pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform reactive maintenance to promptly troubleshoot and resolve issues, minimizing production downtime.
  2. Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules, ensuring optimal equipment performance and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  3. Diagnose and repair Electrical, and basic mechanical faults across production equipment with precision and efficiency.
  4. Contribute to process improvement projects, applying technical expertise to enhance productivity and operational reliability.

About You:
  1. Proven experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment, with a strong electrical bias or a multi-skilled background (holding electrical qualifications).
  2. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair complex production equipment.
  3. Familiarity with PPM schedules and proactive maintenance strategies.
  4. A collaborative mindset, ready to tackle diverse challenges and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
