Job description

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for a lower tier COMAH facility in West Bromwich, West Midlands. Our client specialises in manufacturing organic chemicals for a variety of industries, including Pharmaceutical, Agrochemical, Rubber, Polymer, Food & Beverage, and allied sectors. This is a permanent position with an immediate start.

About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance Management: Oversee the provision, operation, and development of all maintenance and planned preventative maintenance systems, including inspections.
• Project Management: Design, specify, and install electrical equipment for new capital projects, maintenance, and upgrades, ensuring expenditure remains within authorised budgets.
• Team Leadership: Organise and manage the electrical team and any electrical contractors.
• Technical Authority: Serve as the Company's Technical Authority on electrical matters.

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Experience: At least 5 years of practical experience post-HNC, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of ATEX, area classification, and BS60079 standards.
