Job Description

Electrical Engineer to join a medium sized firm, specializing in the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems for infrastructure projects. They are a Tier 1 supplier and need a competent Electrical Engineer with a good attitude to getting a job completed.

100% remote. This position requires travel to client sites. Van provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, test, and commission electrical systems for power and water systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Carry out electrical fault-finding, repairs, and troubleshooting on site.
Provide technical expertise and support to the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
Perform system tests and ensure proper functionality of electrical equipment.
Work closely with other engineers, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality installations.
Ensure all work is completed on time and within budget, while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification
Proven experience in the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems, preferably within power and water industries.
Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
Experience with control systems, power distribution, and water treatment systems.
Proficient in using electrical testing equipment.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
Full, clean UK driving license and eligibility to work in the UK.
