Winner Recruitment are working with an award-winning service provider to recruit for an Electrical Engineer to perform planned and reactive maintenance and servicing of electrical assets such as emergency lighting, fire alarms, generators, as well as looking after aspects such as fabric work and first fix of AHU.

Responsibilities

1. As an Electrical Engineer, you will work nationwide performing a variety of electrical work across multiple different industries such as healthcare, retail, education, and commercial sites.
2. You will perform a variety of tasks throughout these sites such as testing and inspecting, planned and reactive maintenance, and project work.
3. As an Electrical Engineer, you will perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems in the building, including lighting, power distribution, and emergency backup systems.
4. You will ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes while maintaining electrical systems and equipment.
5. As an Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate with project managers to plan, design, and implement electrical projects, ensuring they meet the required specifications and deadlines.
6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, testing, and project work, including documentation for audits and inspections.
7. As an Electrical Engineer, there will be times where you will have to do overnight stays in order to complete work the following day.

Candidate

1. As an Electrical Engineer, you must hold the relevant qualifications in electrical installations e.g., NVQ or City & Guilds.
2. The candidate must have strong knowledge of electrical systems.
3. You must have excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
4. You must be willing to spend the odd day overnight.
