Job description

Electrical Engineer
Location: Southwark, SE1 8NJ
Duration: 3 months (with potential to extend)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (1-hour unpaid break)
Pay Rate: £25 - £35 ph

Key Qualifications & Skills Required:
  1. 18th Edition Qualification (essential)
  2. Test & Inspection Qualifications (2391 & 2392)
  3. Strong knowledge of fire alarm panels
  4. Knowledge of air conditioning (AC) systems
  5. Experience in dealing with reactive tasks and maintenance
  6. Ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults
  7. Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conducting electrical maintenance and repairs across a variety of systems
  2. Working with fire alarm panels and ensuring proper operation and safety
  3. Undertaking reactive maintenance tasks in response to equipment failures or faults
  4. Providing technical support and guidance in electrical system diagnostics
  5. Performing installation, testing, and inspections as needed
  6. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
