Electrical Engineer - Automation Specialist
Leeds | Permanent | £40,000+ (DOE)

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for automation? We're seeking a talented and driven individual to join our growing team in Leeds on a permanent basis.

About the Role:
In this role, you'll take the lead on designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems with a strong focus on automation technologies. You'll be working on diverse, cutting-edge projects that require both innovation and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop electrical control systems and automation solutions.
  2. Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and components.
  3. Capable of electrical installation and repair work.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers.
  5. Ensure compliance with industry standards and health & safety regulations.

Requirements:
  1. Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in industrial automation and control systems.
  3. Strong knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
  4. Ability to read and create electrical schematics.
  5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  6. Must have a full clean driving licence.
  7. Must be happy to work away.
