Electrical Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of automated machinery based in the Wigan area. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fault-finding, testing and repair of machinery, alongside wiring control panels & electrical schematic design.


Electrical Engineer Job Overview
  • Fault-finding, testing and repairing automated machinery
  • Assisting with electrical wiring of PLC's and control panels
  • Travelling to customer sites to carry out service / maintenance
  • Providing remote and onsite technical support to customers
  • Assisting other departments as required as part of a small team
  • Utilising CAD software to produce electrical schematic drawings
  • Reading electrical schematic drawings

Electrical Engineer Job Requirements
  • Qualifications / apprenticeship within electrical engineering
  • Previous hands-on experience in the build, maintenance of service of machinery
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience with electrical schematic drawings, ability to use CAD is an advantage
  • Experience with wiring PLC's is desirable
  • Based in a commutable area of Wigan

Electrical Engineer Salary & Benefits
  • Salary 28,000 - 35,000 depending on experience
  • Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00. Friday 08:30 - 14:30.
  • Holiday allowance and pension
