Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Foundry Environment

Location: Dronfield, Derbyshire

Job Type: Full-Time | Shift Pattern: Panama Days Only

Salary: £48,000 - £50,000 per annum + Monthly Bonus

We're looking for a proactive and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our client's maintenance team at our busy foundry site in Dronfield. If you thrive in a challenging industrial setting and enjoy problem-solving in a hands-on role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintenance & Fault Finding: Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns on plant machinery and electrical systems.
  2. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical work meets relevant health & safety regulations and internal standards.
  3. Continuous Improvement: Support ongoing improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and plant performance.
What We're Looking For:
  1. Experience: Previous experience as an Electrical Engineer in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or foundry environment.
  2. Technical Knowledge: Strong background in fault finding, motors, and industrial electrics.
  3. Qualifications: NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. 18th Edition certification is desirable.
