Location: Birmingham

Salary: £43k Basic + Callout Pay to easily earn £50k, with lots of opportunities to earn more

Hours: Mon – Fri // 7:00am to 15:30pm // (1 in 7 Callout, paid as Overtime)

To aid in their ongoing expansion efforts, we are looking for an electrical engineer to join the skilled team.

Key Responsibilities:

As an electrical engineer, you will be expected to:

• Complete planned preventive maintenance
• React to breakdowns
• Conduct electrical fault finding
• Perform electrical installations
• Undertake project work, including upgrading and new machine installations
• Fault find down to inputs and outputs on a PLC
• Fault find on 3-Phase Equipment
• Have experience with Variable Speed Drives
• Have pneumatics experience
• Read electrical drawings

About You:

To be considered for this electrical engineer role, you should have the following:

• Team player
• Ability to fault find electrically
• Comfortable working in a heavy industry environment
• Willingness to participate in callouts every 1 in 7 weeks (paid as Overtime)
• Hold a recognised level 3 (or above) Electrical qualification - City and Guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HND, HNC
