Higher National Certification (HNC) in Building Services or similar
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
At least 3 years of industry experience in Building Services Industry
Experience in AutoCAD or other industry software packages including Microsoft Office
Familiarity with building regulations and industry standards
Preferable: experience in Dilux and other electrical software packages
Own a car and able to drive
Responsibilities and Duties:
Arranging utility applications and obtaining quotes including Elec (UK Power Network)
Lighting calculations (elec design engineer)
Producing Electrical preliminary and tender drawing packages using AutoCAD
Assisting in producing Electrical Services Specification documents for Tender Issue
Attending online meetings and site meetings
Surveying existing M&E installations
Producing snagging reports
Assisting in the generation of proposals, scopes, schedules, and budgets for projects
Performing field activities such as observation of construction activities
Reviewing construction submittals for conformance with the intent of contract and design documents
Providing guidance and mentoring to project engineers and designers on a project-by-project basis
Displaying strong communication and interpersonal skills and having the ability to work in a team environment with multiple deadlines
