As they continue to grow, they are looking for a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Your new role
As an Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for a variety of building projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Creating detailed electrical designs and schematics.
  2. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  3. Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  4. Utilising industry-standard software to produce accurate and efficient designs.
  5. Providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Typically taking on 3 to 5 projects a year, ensuring each project meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  7. Project types include: care homes, hotels, warehouses, and refurbishments.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant electrical experience.
  • Proven experience in electrical design within the building services industry.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
