Help the public sector hit NetZero – and get paid doing it!
In your new electrical design contract, you'll be working on projects across the UK for a Principal contractor. They have close links to the public sector, so most of your designs will be put in place on schools, hospitals, leisure centres, and council buildings – helping them to be more energy efficient and sustainable.
You'll be hands-on designing LV systems for building services (heat pumps, connections for solar PV) and renewable technologies on those sites.
You'll also be generating SLDs and load schedules, plus reviewing and commenting on third-party works.
As you'll be hitting the ground running, we will need you to be proficient in either Amtech ProDesign or ElectricalOM. You'll need to know your way around BS7671 and relevant standards relating to earthing, selection, and erection too.
The Electrical Design Engineer contract is anticipated to last around 6 months, and it will be mostly remote working. If you do get lonely in your home office, though, the company's very welcoming HQ is in central London.
If we're both happy to proceed, we'll work together to support you throughout your application, interview, and offer process.
