Electrical Design Engineer

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for an Electrical Design Engineer to work in their leading facility in Telford.

For the successful Electrical Design Engineer, our client is offering:

• Competitive annual salary offering up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
• Days 7:30am-4:30pm with a 1:30pm finish on Fridays.
• Permanent Role.
• Excellent opportunity to join a well-established Engineering business.

The role – Electrical Design Engineer:

• Design and manufacturing of electrical equipment & control systems.
• Generating product technical files i.e., Bill of materials / Instructions etc.
• Providing customer support when required.
• Preparing product documents and writing up reports.
• Modification of drawings.
• Researching suitable solutions and estimation of costs in line with timescales.
• Ensuring work generated meets company standards.

What our client is looking for in an Electrical Design Engineer:

• Engineering aptitude and very keen to learn.
• This role would suit somebody who has completed an HNC in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• 2D / 3D knowledge.
• It is ESSENTIAL that you have had exposure to design-based packages (2D / 3D).
