Electrical Design Engineer

Coventry (Commutable from Rugby, Nuneaton, Daventry, Royal Lemington Spa, Northampton.)

£50,000 – £55,000 + Monday to Friday (37 Hours) + Travel Abroad + Training + Development + Enhanced Pension + Holidays.

This company specialises in the manufacturing and supply of commercial refrigeration and steel equipment to major household brands. They are looking for a dedicated Design Engineer with a strong understanding of electrical standards.

The Role:

1. Site-based role, with some travel abroad.
2. Electrical design of power distribution units.
3. Monday to Thursday, 8:30am-5:30pm (4:30 finish Fridays).
4. Completing electrical design tasks to time and quality requirements.
5. Providing technical input and designing bespoke electrical distribution units.
6. Creating schematics and bills of material for new designs.

The Person:

1. Qualified in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Design.
2. Holds 17th, 18th, or 19th Edition.
3. Strong understanding of electrical design standards.
4. Lives within a commutable distance to site.
