Electrical Design Engineer

JOB: Electrical Design Engineer
LOCATION: Leicestershire
TERM: Permanent
SALARY: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum.

A Leicestershire based Engineering company is currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

1. Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical design package.
2. Previous electrical design experience in a manufacturing environment or similar.
3. Previous experience designing industrial machinery.
4. Good PLC/HMI understanding & knowledge.
5. Full UK driving license.
6. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The duties & responsibilities will include:

1. Producing design documentation & electrical wiring diagrams.
2. Ensuring health & safety regulations are being met at all times.
3. Providing support to other engineers when required.
4. Writing software for PLC & HMIs.
