Are you a Controls Engineer looking for your next immediately available contract role where you will be working at a prestigious world-known theatre production company?

Due to an increase in workload, my client is needing a Controls Engineer with prior experience in programming and fault-finding PLC's where you will be working at a world-renowned theatre based in central London.

The ideal candidate will be a Controls Engineer where you will work as part of the stage automation system engineering team to deliver and maintain systems to meet the required specifications and standards; and be involved in the future and ongoing developments, consultation, design, evaluation, pre-commissioning and commissioning of new control systems.

This is a rare and fantastic opportunity for a Controls Engineer to work for a world-renowned theatre production company where you will be working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern from 07:00 am - 19:00 pm.

The Role:

1. Working as part of the stage automation system engineering team to deliver and maintain systems to meet the required specifications and standards
2. Working with motion sensor controls
3. Dealing with any failures of the stage systems including production sets that need to be investigated and effective repairs carried out in a safe and timely manner, while working under pressure and to tight deadlines.

The Candidate:

1. Theatre production controls background preferred; however, process-controlled background will be transferrable
2. Instrumentation and process background
3. Strong knowledge of SCADA packages and the ability to program PLC's
4. Looking for an immediately available contract role which has been confirmed as Outside IR35
