Job description

Roc Search's client is looking for an Electrical Controls Design Engineer to join their growing team in Derbyshire. Our client is one of the UKs leading providers of critical engineering services, and their expertise spans from the food and beverage sector to high security defence, nuclear and aerospace.


The role will consist of designing and developing bespoke control systems to meet customer specifications whilst adhering to industry standards.


Key Requirements
  1. Experience in electrical design, control systems or similar.
  2. Knowledge and experience in design software (AutoCAD electrical (preferred), EPlan or similar).
  3. PLC, SCADA and industrial communication protocol experience.
  4. Understanding of industry standards such as IEC, UL, or BS EN.
  5. Full UK driving licence.
  6. Hands-on experience with panel building or commissioning.
