Qualifications

  • Must have Level 3 NVQ Electrical Qualification and 18th Edition.
  • Experience in PPMs and reactive electrical work is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct annual and weekly PPMs on electrical systems.
  • Perform reactive maintenance on heat lamps and lighting.
  • Test fire alarms and manage site variations.

Job description

We have a new opportunity for an Electrical bias Engineer to join an FM provider. This role will focus on the maintenance of a Zoo in Twycross.


About the role of Electrical bias Engineer:


This is an interesting opportunity for an Electrical engineer working at a Zoo in Twycross. There are 125 buildings on site and a team of 9 engineers. Day-to-day duties include PPMs and reactive work. The role is 8 to 5 Monday to Friday, and there is overtime available.


Responsibilities for the role of Electrical bias Engineer:


  1. PPMs - Annual and weekly PPMs on distribution boards and electrical systems
  2. Reactive - Heat lamps, lighting, and UV
  3. Testing - Fire alarm tests
  4. Lots of variation in work due to the nature of the site

Experience Required for the role of Electrical bias Engineer:


Level 3 NVQ Electrical Qualification - City and Guilds. Must have 18th Edition.
