EL / PL Casualty Legal Executive 4 years PQE

We are pleased to present this really exciting opportunity to join this Top Tier Legal 500 law firm within their Casualty department. Due to rapid growth, they are now seeking to appoint a talented Chartered Legal Executive to join them.

The ideal candidate will have experience of handling a caseload of Employers' Liability / Public Liability claims from the outset through to settlement or trial from a number of insurers, including fast and complex multi-track cases.

The work will be varied and interesting for a number of different insurers. The successful candidate will be handling their own caseload investigating indemnity, liability, and quantum, with experience of reviewing complex disclosure, instructing experts, drafting Court documents, making offers of settlement, and dealing with costs. You will also be assisting senior members with their caseload of catastrophic injury cases.

You will also have the opportunity to be involved with client relations and business development.

The Candidate

• Experience of running a litigated EL / PL caseload
• Catastrophic injury experience preferred
• Ability to work to deadlines, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
• Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
• Strong legal and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
