What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading EHV cabling projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth delivery.
  • Supporting bids and tenders for new and exciting projects.
  • Managing project mobilisation, scope, budgeting, and planning.
  • Keeping project controls in check PMP, QA/QC, CPP.
  • Overseeing risk management, budget tracking, and cash flow.
  • Producing monthly reports and keeping everything running on time.
  • Providing leadership and problem-solving when challenges arise.
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with SHE standards.
  • Managing key documents like the Programme of Works, Quality Plan, and Risk Register.
  • Building great relationships with clients, teams, and subcontractors.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Engineering qualification (HND/HNC) or relevant industry experience.
  • Project management certification (APM or similar).
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles, CDM regulations, and cabling installation.
  • SHE qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH).
  • Experience working with SSEN, NGET, or Distribution Network Operators.
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness, especially NEC contracts & permits.
  • Great leadership and communication skills you can bring people together and get things done!
  • Willingness to travel and stay away when needed.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
